We found another limestone brick under the first one.  No doubt we are in a room.  It is pretty exciting.  I am guessing that we shall uncover more as we go deeper down.  

Not too much happened today, we did not find anything.  The limestone brick we found is still exposed, but it's not out of the ground yet.  There is probably a wall there, so we don't want to excavate it just yet.

We uncovered a brick today, but other than that, not too much happened.  We found it in the loose dirt so we weren't able to articulate it.  We went down pretty far though.  It was a good day.

Our hole is naturally very rough and uneven.  There are two different kinds of dirt in our single hole.  We have been digging in the same spot the whole time, but are now just starting to dig on the other half.  Our entire square is very uneven, but will eventually become level with time.

1st Post

Um, I'm not totally sure how to work this thing, but this is my first entry I guess. Archaeology is my favorite class, and Mr. Thames is my favorite teacher. We have already begun digging and have not found too much yet, but we do believe we will find a wall eventually.  Our hill is called Tel Ya'ar.  It is a studly hill with lots of hidden secrets.
